Strategies Implemented:
 - User Research,
 - Desktop Research,
 - Wire Framing,
 - High Fidelity Mockups.
Tools Used:
 - Adobe Suite (XD, Photoshop, Illustrator),
 - Visual Studio Code,
 - GitHub,
 - FileZilla.
The Output:
A clean and minimal design aimed at the working professional who values function over form, but still appreciates the aesthetics. A neutral colour palette with pops of colour that are energetic, but not obnoxious, delivers a soft balance of the company’s values which are grounded in nature, sustainability, and beautiful design. Natural textures offer a feeling of calm and tranquillity, and the quiet luxury that echoes the qualities and values of the company. A modern, urban, and lightweight sans serif body copy balance the boldness of the modern serif of the tagline typography that demands attention.
User Testing and Refinement:
User testing was done to understand whether the project has been successful, and to identify areas and issues that need to be changed to better reflect the project goals. Participants of this test were 20-30 years old and either male or female identifying. By interviewing participants one on one with specific questions about using the website, we were able to identify the usability flaws and successes of the design and the sites navigation.Participants suggested that a link to the ‘blog’ should be added into the navigation bar for easier navigation. One participant insisted that the homepage tagline was confusing and did not relate to landscape architecture well enough. More variations of the tagline should therefore be tested to see how to better relay the idea that this is a landscape architects website.

“66.6% of participants were able to successfully complete all tasks.”
“100% of participants were able to identify the target audience.”
“100% of participants were able to navigate the websites portfolio.”
